Our standard stock holds conventional colloidal gold with secondary antibodies in four particle diameters, ranging from 6 nm to 25 nm. These conventional-sized reagents are prepared using the highest quality of antibodies or binding agents, to provide you with the most trustworthy results in your research. However, we also offer unique ultra-small colloidal gold with secondary antibodies, which offer even more efficiency and better results in any immuno-application. Ultra-small colloidal gold conjugated antibodies resemble the unconjugated antibody. The conjugate carries less net negative charge in comparison to conventional gold conjugates and therefore less charge determined repulsion when approaching the sample surface. This has a beneficial effect on labeling density. In combination with silver enhancement reagents ultra-small gold conjugates can be used in electron microscopy, light microscopy, and immunoblotting.
